Currently enrolled in the University of the Fraser Valley's business administration certificate program to better empower my clients regarding business and financial decisions.

2011-2013, Greater Vancouver Area

Completed statistical analysis under supervision, conducted research rch and had administration duties.

Counselled consumers about their rights and responsabilities.  Focus on conflict resolution and  financial education.  900 counselling hrs.

2008-2010, Greater Vancouver Area

I conducted surveys and interviews, and collated data, on a variety of retail products that have an implication for substance dependency, for different North American corporations.

September 2007 – April 2008, (over 600 counselling hrs.), Chilliwack, BC

Worked with individuals, couples and groups. Focused on couples counselling, depression and substance abuse. Took part in psycho-educational groups focused on improving parenting skills.

2003,  (conract position, 150 interview hrs. )greater vancouver area

Interviewed senior citizens for a research project on senior citizens health literacy (administered mental health status exams). This was a joint project between the University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia.

2002-2003, Aldergrove, (1728 counselling hrs)

Helped design and implement therapy with clients. Dispensed medication. Responsible for daily management of in house facility for juveniles suffering from psychiatric and behavioural problems in the ministry's care. Worked with social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists.

December 2001 – November 2002 (1 year) Seoul, South Korea

Taught English as a Second Language, developed and implemented curriculum. Acted as the school's counsellor (100 counselling hrs.) and implemented parenting mini-seminars, participated in continuing education seminars, taught kindergarten to grade 7.  

2001, (4320 counselling hrs.) Langley BC

Implemented behavioural therapy and managed daily operations for a facility for juveniles in the Ministry of Family Services care. Life skills coaching, substance abuse counselling, reproductive education.

July 2000 – October 2000 (200 counselling hrs.)Abbotsford BC

This is an in house addictions counselling facility for women. Group work and individual counselling. Family Systems Model.

January 1996 – October 1996 (10 months) Student Union Society, Abbotsford BC campus
